Police seek witnesses to Denny car fire

Police are appealing for information after a car was found on fire in a Denny driveway.

The fire, at Cruckshanks Court, is believed to have been started deliberately sometime around 3.30am on Saturday, February 11.

Fortunately the fire was discovered by a passerby who was able to alert the occupants of the house and thankfully no persons were injured.

Fire crews were called to the blaze at 3.46am and extinguished it one hose reel jet and a Prima foam unit.

Community cops are now appealing for anyone who may have seen anyone in the area around this time or anything suspicious to come forward.

Anyone with information can contact Central Scotland Police on 01786 456000 or information can be given anonymously to Crime stoppers on 0800 555111.
