Pooling Resources

At the latest meeting of 21st Century Denny focus group, it was decided to approach Falkirk Council with a view to 'pooling' resources over new plans for Denny town centre.

Campaigner Brian McCabe said, "I have written to Douglas Duff informing him of our intentions."

21st Century Denny are arranging a survey to assess the thoughts of the community with regards the regeneration option.

"While not pre-judging any outcome, the group felt that 'Denny Deserves Better' and that we seek opinions of the people who matter most, the local residents.", said CC Chairman Colin Belbin.

21st Century Denny will be in the town this Saturday morning collecting names in support of the idea that 'Denny Deserves Better'.

"We will have a team on the streets advising the community of Council's plan for the town and asking for their support to re-think their unambitious option", said Brian McCabe.

Petitioners will be in the town between 10.00-12.00am on Saturday morning.
