Speed camera warning to Denny drivers
Denny drivers should take note that there will be speed cameras operating nearby this week (w/c Monday, January 23).
The mobile units will be operating on the M80 at Dunipace.
They will be sign-posted and easy to spot, with clear warning signs in advance of where they are parked.
The cameras in the units can photograph cars both approaching and receding and produce a continuous film, so you won’t be flashed.
Central Scotland Safety Camera Partnership manager, Neil MacSporran, said: “This weekend saw the coldest night of the winter.
“Please reduce your speed as the chances of skidding are much greater and your stopping distance will increase in icy conditions.
“Speed limits are the maximum speed you should be travelling at in ideal conditions.”
